Tone-Loc
The two clubs realized they were both scammed through the grapevine of local bar owners. Once their stories were compared, the club owners called Bobby Bessone, Tone-Loc's real manger of eight years. Bessone reportedly said when Loc heard of the scams, he offered to play the shows for his regular fee.
The 100-capacity Red Dog welcomes the performer April 11, while the Bumpers show is April 12.

is making good on two club shows that were booked by a man posing as the performer's manager, according to the Detroit Free Press. The man, who said his name was Robert Jennings, received $400 from the Red Dog Saloon in Milford, MI, for the bogus concert. The man also scammed $1,000 out of Judy Johnson of Bumpers Bar & Grill, located in Westland, MI, which is on the west side of Detroit.
