The late Atomic Kitten singer previously vowed she would never have anything to do with her mum, Sue, after she sold a story about Kerry to the tabloids.
But Kerry reportedly rang her mother after she failed to appear at court for the third time for benefit fraud, fearing she may do 'something stupid'.
A reference tells Heat magazine, "Kerry rang Sue to tell her to stay positive and to ask how she was holding up. She told her mum not to do anything silly. She seemed truly concerned."
